I finally managed to make a few new MOCs again and thought I should upload this one despite the poor lighting conditions of the season.
The six projectiles at the front can be fired by turning the purple knob at the end of it's tilted abdomen.
I have a strong suspicion that it is not strictly legal as there may be some slightly stressed connection on it's back. But nothing too serious, and I'm quite contend with the results.
Comments and feedback are most welcome :-)
after spending the morning scouring parts and trying to fit various
eye socket styles into the dome, I tried this. It fits nicely but it
feels too MST3K to me. Back to the mocing board. Also I plan to change
my overengineered XL teeth on the inner jaw to the other size and
integrate the larger ones into the jawline for more variety. Thoughts
and encouragement greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Shots of my NECA aliens figures. Some Photoshop adjustments in brightness/contrast & colour balance. Film grain was also added. Taken on my Nikon D7000.

They look like aliens to me (Sorry Sheesh) and they are trying to read the Valley Planet. Be afraid...
Flower macros are usually not my thing. Other people do them much better. But...
Upon close examination, I started seeing little "creatures" in the center of almost every one of the orchids in the orchid nursery on the big island of Hawaii. I felt as if once everyone left at night, these guys would start having little orchid alien parties. I felt compelled to create a set of these, and there are more to come.
I'm really not nuts. My husband "saw" them too.
Does anyone know what this is? It's marked "Imperial" and I know I've seen others around, but I don't know if there is a particular set it belongs to.
If I was a writer I would have writers block! Last nite I did move things around abit! If it takes 3 years to do a Star Trek movie, I should be able to take some time off!

I found DIY version online here

but I don't have a drill so I made my own version
Newt: My mommy always said there were no monsters - no real ones - but there are.
Ripley: Yes, there are, aren't there?
Newt: Why do they tell little kids that?
Ripley: Most of the time it's true.
There are some really crazily-shaped carrots in this batch. I love pulling them up because you never know what you are going to get!
Ever notice how she never used the flamethrower on it in the movie?
