In the Bible we read several times this message, Be not Afraid. Jesus told Peter not to be afraid (Luke 5:10). The Angel told Mary and Joseph not be afraid ( Luke 1:30 and Matthew 1:20).

If we are with our parents, there's nothing to be afraid of. Our parents would give us a help when we need it.

The same thing comes to our relation with God. He would help us. We need to ask Him and believe that He loves us (and will help us). To do this, it is good to always first make a contemplation about our wrongdoings. Then repent. After we should help the needy around us. Then we ask what we need to God and He will help us.

I fear no thorns.
