digital painting I submitted for an art contest. sadly it didn't make the cut, but meh. :p
This female Maratus seemed bemused to watch two males fight over her. She kept trying to get away from them both but they were quite determined! While she doesn't have beautiful flaps, I think she looks lovely in her own way.
Son & Heir with his mother, featuring a bruise in the exact shape of an alpaca's hoof. Mir rangefinder, Tri-X in Diafine. Needs a rescan to get rid of the Newton's rings, but at this size I don't think they're very obtrusive.
The groom and his brother (best man), sowing a little affection or their mother.
More from Nathalie and Brandon's wedding. Also, more on the blog!
You can see a bit of an uneven wave in the stripes here, but I didn't want to block this too hard for fear of stretching all the bounce out of the yarn.
i was taking picture of the pagoda of the korean friendship bell and was waiting for them to move away. the guy saw me and he probably thought that i was taking some pictures of them so i took this shot. too bad the girls face was in the shadow. i gave them my email address so that they can email me and ask me a copy, which they did the following day. i hope they like it.
updating my public display of affection set
Molly is looking to start a loving and lasting relationship built on trust, affection, mutual respect, and lots of time spent curled up together enjoying a quiet and relaxing evening. Molly’s was unfortunately found surviving on her own as a stray before she was brought to the safety of the Roanoke Valley SPCA. So she is now looking that special someone who will take her home and never let her have to endure the anxiety of homelessness again!
Molly is a beautiful and striking silver domestic short haired kitty. We believe that she may have some Oriental mixed into her pedigree because of her long face and delicate bone structure. Molly is a very calm and quiet kitty. She can be a bit timid from the lasting impression of the all stress she has had to overcome in her past situations, but she is opening up a lot more with the patient and reassuring help of her friends here at the RVSPCA. Molly would be a wonderful kitty for some compassionate person who leads a calmer lifestyle and longs for a feline companion who will fit in nicely lounging in the sunlight with them on peaceful afternoons and cuddling for warmth on cooler evenings. Molly is very patient and well mannered; she is not boisterous at all and prefers simply being close to her people rather than running wild.
Molly has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is looking forward to finding a home where she can feel safe and loved … will you be the one to rescue this deserving girl?

DS 234. Look for an area with a big differential in light. Make a photo exposed for the brightest area, isolating a subject.
The escalator in a local shopping mall lit by sunshine entering through big windows was a very good stage for lights mixed with shadows. Now I had to wait for some interesting subject...
This shot, Daniel was shouldered by my mom, however the scene occurring to me is I was once carried on her back. Different period, the same affection.
