Hello everyone, my name is Juanita Chiquita! I am a very special girl with a calm, mellow and laid back personality. I'm a go-with-the-flow kind of dog. I'm happy if my people are happy. I am 8 years old and somehow ended up in a scary shelter. I am a spayed female American Bulldog in need of forever home and someone to love. I like to play with other dogs. I am friendly, affectionate and like being petted. I enjoy walks and just hanging out in the house. I am a sweetheart senior who is full of life and has plenty of love to give. The volunteers say, "She's such a great dog and loves affection. She's an easy walk and just a joy to be around." Doesn't get much better than that. My only wish is to be the heartbeat at your feet, to find someone to love for life and a home where I'll never be abandoned again. Please help me find that. You'll be so glad you did. I live at the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center at 1700 Brown Rd in Auburn Hills. You can visit me there any time the shelter is open. The shelter will not put me up for adoption because of my appearance, so my only way out of the shelter alive is through a rescue.
