The main attraction of the Water Gardens is the active pool which has water cascading 38 feet (11 m) down terraces and steps into a small pool at the bottom.

Assignment:
Wheels make the world go ‘round. For this assignment you are to capture the essence of this wonder of invention and seek out the wheels that make your world turn.
Restriction: To add some challenge, NO wheels that are intended to carry vehicles (cars, trucks, bikes, wagons, trains, etc.) are allowed.
WIT: hopefully this doesn't fall under the restriction, technically, these wheels guide. If these wheels don't turn, my world doesn't. Took this shot after work using my trusty 50mm 1.8 (great for night shots!). Edited in Gimp using a Lucis-like effect in Gimp called retinex, tweeked, and turned to b&w.

This notebook belonged to my mother, she passed away in 2012. She was a nature lover just like me (I clearly am a result of her influence!) and as a young girl used the notebook to write down her observations, including dried flowers and plants.
The three violins are my addition to this picture.
