Submitted for Active Assignment Weekly: One Of These Things Just Doesn't Belong: July 20-27
Mission: Capture a picture of the "odd ball" in a group. Perhaps an ugly duckling in a group of swans, an orange in a barrel of apples, or a burnt out light bulb in a fully lit marquee. The subject can be man made, or God made; it just needs to NOT fit in with the group.
Restriction: You can only use a Nikon ;-) Just Kidding! I hope I don't get shunned from the group for that! Seriously, I can't think of a good restriction, SO other than the normal rules of the group there are no restrictions.
WIT: A shot of the fleeting poppies that volunteer in my untended garden. I had to clone out bit of a second bloom, so that the remaining magenta spot was on her own.

www.gruppoparpas.com - The model ACTIVE FIVE is a high speed working center with fixed portal and mobile table solution characterized by a very compact and ergonomic line. The machine is equipped with a head to two continuous working axes. The planning with the aid of the system FEM has allowed to optimize the calculation to finished elements making the particularly rigid structures of this model with the total elimination of the vibrations in phase of milling. If to this are added the low attritions and the elevated accelerations of the axes, are gotten so all the characteristics that allow to get particularly bright dynamic performances is in finish, that in roughing, to advantage of the economy of the whole cycle of milling.

Heading home to Ladner from Victoria (on Vancouver Island (Canada)) today, there was enough fog that a lookout was posted at the front of the ferry. I spent the first half of the trip with a 180mm lens capturing the wonderful bleakness/richness of the fog. It is the long weekend, so there were a lot of small craft about, livening up our trip.
