電話響了，在我翻過堤防入口那道上鎖的鐵門後。
耳機裡播放的音樂因為來電的關係中斷了播放，我放下背在肩上的腳架，按下了耳機線上的通話鍵，電話那頭傳來了吵雜的樂器演奏和她的聲音。
越往堤防尾端走，海風的聲音越大，訊號不佳的關係，耳機裡的聲音好像被抽離到哪個不知名的空間一樣的斷斷續續，正想拿出口袋裡的手機確認訊號的強弱，原本片段的音訊突然回復正常，但聲音還是像隔著幾層玻璃那樣的模糊，「…海的聲音！」我調整了音量大小後，在模糊的音訊裡，聽到了幾個比較清楚的她的聲音，『對啊！』我說。
海像是正在醞釀著一股要掀起大浪的力道一般，綿密且緊湊的擺動著，距離太陽消失在海平面上大概只剩下十分鐘左右，我想要抓緊這最後的時間，立起那個一直放在老家，已經有點壞掉了的腳架。
「是你十五歲的時候翹課都會去的那一片海嗎？」她在電話那一頭問起，我以為我形容得更好才對，橘黃色的夕陽、車禍之前的友人、用立可白在堤防上寫下暗戀女孩子的名字，或是未成年第一口苦澀的啤酒。那時候一直以為，我們會跟這片海一樣不會變，只是沒想到，永遠不變的，是這一切一直在變。
架好機器，太陽已經整個消失在海的那一邊了，天空像是快要耗盡電力的燈一般微微亮著。
『還在練團？』我問，「嘿！我有說過我是在海上出身的嗎？」她無視我的問題說著，『所以妳是人魚嗎？還是海上鋼琴師？』
「我是海上的BASS手。」她的聲音笑著說：「嚴格來說應該是在船上出身啦！」
我按下Rec鍵，相機3吋小螢幕裡的海浪急促的互相延綿到海平線的那一頭，遠方的貨輪和漁船們紛紛亮燈前進，如果是平常，也許可以好好地看看這片海吧。像是儀式一般的，每次回到南方，就會來到這裡，翻過那道生鏽的鐵門，聽著同一首歌，地看著這一片海，然後好好地回想過去一年的自己。
回來的前一天，在剪接室裡導演提出了在各個段落放上更多海的畫面的建議，『但是我們在東部時沒有真的拍下那麼多海的畫面啊！』我在心裡想著的同時，腦海裡浮現了這片海的景象，那時才想起，我好像從來沒有真的沒有在這一片海上拍下些甚麼。
「是真的喔，只要搜尋那一年關於海的事情，就可以看到那則新聞，一直都會在搜尋結果的最上面，可能除了華萊士記載的人魚以外，我是誕生在海上的孩子。」她在電話那一邊說著：「所以只要聽到一點點海的聲音，我都感覺到整個世界好像在海上搖晃著一樣。」
『即使是坐在電腦前面？』我問。
「即使是坐在電腦前面。」
『即使只是在電話的另一邊』
「嗯！」海風大的我不確定她是不是還有在說些甚麼，也許只是重複了我的話而已。
隨著天空的顏色從灰色漸漸變暗，海風也越來越大，前方的堤坊隨時會被掀起的海浪淹沒的感覺，我只好放棄往前走，收起相機和腳架，拿出口袋裡的手機，想確認到底是訊號的問題，還是她已經掛上了電話。
突然耳機那一邊傳來BASS低沉的節奏，持續了好一陣子後她說：「很像晚上的海吧，即使只是在電話的另一邊，我好像可以看到遠方漁船的燈光一樣。」說完後她持續的彈奏著，那節奏像是塞進海浪的隙縫裡一般的，海浪的弧度變得越來越平緩越來越平緩。
掛上了電話，繼續在堤防上待了一陣，遠方的貨輪和漁船們，彷彿一點也沒有前進的還在剛剛的位置上，海風變小許多，海浪的聲音變得越來越清晰，看著海上擺動的浪，我還是不太能想像她所謂「整個世界都在海上搖晃」的感覺，但突然有點想念掛上電話之前，她彈奏的那一段，很像海浪的聲音。

Last evening's shot of the Andromeda Galaxy. The image is a composite of 15 one-minute exposures at ISO 3200 and setting the f-stop back one setting to f/6.3 from the default 5.6. Seems to have made a difference in the details. Too bad the moon was rising, it was a perfect night for imaging. Temperatures stayed above the dew point during the entire session.
Observation Site: 40.8978786 N,75.8921584 W Equipment: Canon 6D, Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM, iOptron ZEQ25GT mount. Software: Backyard EOS v3 (camera control), Starry Night Pro v6 (mount control).
