Every morning, at nearly every weather, there's at least one group performing Taiji (太极拳 tàijíquán) on the Bund. Taken on a cold December morning, just before the sun appears behind the Pudong skyscrapers.

Wonderpass, Marylebone Road Subway, London, UK
Située au cœur du Vieux-Lyon, la Cathédrale Saint-Jean, appelée aussi Primatiale Saint-Jean (siège du primat des Gaules), est un édifice mélangeant les styles gothique et roman. Sa construction s'étend sur trois siècles, de 1175 à 1481.
Elle a été au cours des siècles le théâtre d'évènements politiques et historiques importants : 2 conciles s'y sont déroulés en 1245 et 1274; le Pape Jean XXII y est couronné en 1316 ; le 13 décembre 1600, la cathédrale abrite le mariage d'Henri IV et de Marie de Médicis.

Light and shadow on Saint John cathedral
Located in the heart of Vieux Lyon, Saint John Cathedral, also known as Saint John Primatiale (seat of the Primate of the Gauls), is a building blending Gothic and Romanesque styles. Its construction covers three centuries, from 1175 to 1481.
Important historical and political events took place there : 2 councils in 1245 and 1274, the coronation of Pope John XXIIth in 1316, the marriage of king Henry IVth and Marie de Medici in December 1600.

1950 Buick Super convertible car in Havana photographed on the last day of my holiday in Cuba. It was a hot sunny day and ideal for tourists taking a tour of Old Havana in these old american convertible cars.

"Escalation II" King's Cross St. Pancras Station, London, UK
Wishing all my friends on Flickr a very beautiful 2016! I'd like to celebrate the arrival of the new year with all of you.
A typical Danish Christmas Eve in my childhood home. Father has lit the candles, the doors have been opened and the family let in for the traditional dancing and singing around the Christmas tree.
Left to right: Myself disguised as "Yule man", sister Lene, neighbour and occasional nanny Marie, uncle Richard, eldest brother Elon and our father Frode. The picture was shot by brother Leon - and our mother Lily had probably found an excuse for not being on the photo... ;)

Ce pont piétonnier était surchargé de cadenas d'amour mis par des touristes. Mais il y en avait tellement que le poids des cadenas (estimé à 45 tonnes !) était devenu un risque pour la structure du pont.
La municipalité de Paris a donc décidé de les retirer en juin dernier.
Nous verrons plein d'autres cadenas d'amour dans notre balade.

The Pont des Arts (Arts Bridge)
This pedestrian bridge was overloaded by lovelocks placed by tourists. But there were so many that the weight of the padlocks (estimation of 45 tons !) had become a risk for the structure of the bridge. . .
So, Paris municipality decided to remove them last June.
We will see plenty of other lovelocks in our stroll.

4 weeks ago the vineyards in my surrounding (here district Luginsland, Stuttgart) were like a gorgeous color palette and now all is gone ...

At nightfall, Saone front and the bridge of Saint-Laurent become all illuminated.

Mâcon - Bourgogne du sud / South Burgundy
Le front de Saône est la partie la plus belle de Mâcon.
On y trouve de nombreuses terrasses de café, de bons restaurants, des maisons colorées.
On peut aussi se promener sur l'esplanade Lamartine en bord de Saône, ainsi nommée en souvenir du poète Lamartine, né à Mâcon en 1790.

Saone front at sunset
Saone front is the most lovely part of Macon.
There are many cafe terraces, fine restaurants, colorful houses.
You can also stroll beside the Saone river along the Lamartine esplanade, so named in memory of the poet Lamartine who was born in Mâcon in 1790.

Small village of Fuisse stands in the center of Pouilly-Fuisse and Saint-Veran vineyard. These wines are great Burgundian white wines.

Je suis venu plusieurs fois à cet endroit admirer de près la Roche de Solutré et je ne me lasse pas de cette vue spectaculaire.
Ce jour là, au coucher du soleil, la Roche et les vignes environnantes étaient illuminées de belles couleurs.

I went several times to this place closely admire Solutre'Rock and I don't get tired of this spectacular view.
On that day, at sunset, the Rock and the surrounding vineyards were illuminated with beautiful colors.
