Can I still make it? To celebrate together with Mylene her new single release with my photo. In my youth I heard them often. Their lyrics threw me even so many blushes in the face. Ha today I stand above such things lol. Yes I manage to post the photo, but only because I knew the title in advance listening.
So my photo for this. Sure I grew up here once. I like to look back often and not because I would not love the "today". Mylene Farmer on tape... Yes Walkman and the AE-1 P. always there.
Old and new always a photo theme just here in Berlin. I love the by the way both old and new. Do not pay so much attention to the errors in the photo just enjoy the time and the song.

A look back to my yesterdays in the beach in reflective weather. My planes for yesterday didn't quite work out as I planned. I managed to get up to the adders only to be doubled up in pain. I struggled home, then spent the rest of the day in Hospital. Luckily after various tests and an Ultrascan, it was found to be Kidney stones. The NHS is wonderful, and it's great to get such amazing professional care. I'm much better today, so I'll try
again to have some adder fun . Yesterday Man is a version by Robert Wyatt on my playlist.
The sky here is different every day ....again and again and again........
It was blue hour, but I experienced it as golden hour.
I think I'm a lucky guy to live here already 25 years....

The now receding Franz Josef Glacier has left in its wake slate-grey, finely ground stone in the foreground against the glassy water of the Waiho River in New Zealand earlier this year. Swirling patterns in the mud around here remind me of Damascus Steel.
This is the kind of room that beckons you to pull up a rocking chair and sit for a spell. The color is quite soothing--at least to me it is. I might even get a hankering to sew.

Yesterday, I uploaded an image of Celastrina ladon, form "lucia". This one is "marginata", the other common morph.
Forgot my wide angle lens at home yesterday and I had to do a photostack of this landscape, I had my D850 with me witch has alot of Mpx (45-46 if I remember ) and the problem was that this is made of multiple images in total It has a resolution of 21523x9725 witch is 209 mpx in total my potato pc sufferd the most out of this. Of course this is just a " illustration " of the original, not even the colors look as the original and thanks to instr beautiful crop policies it doesn't even show the full pic ♂️.... Sooo the lesson is always double check your bag to be sure you didn't forget anything. Thanks for the visit and have a nice day!
Yesterday I saw and photographed the first blooming sunflower fields for this year in the East Eifel, the pictures have not been processed yet.

Two minutes later it was gone. I went to another spot to take a different perspective and when I turned the great light had disappeared.
If you remember my Sandhill Series from last fall this is the same fields. The farmer didnt get the grain harvested so there is a ton of food when the geese and cranes migrate through. We normally begin to see a few geese around the 10th of April and right through the first of May.
BTY this is about 200 yards from my office.
Should have taken the fence post out but what the hey. LOL

There is a moment, as the light fades away, when day is over and night not yet begun. Sometimes, in that moment, time feels suspended between two worlds, and all the memories, all the feelings and experiences, that have brought me to this point in life, flood forth in a wave of pathos and poignance.
