A tasselled Chinese wooden bookmark in our (somewhat dog-eared) copy of Dante's Divine Comedy, illustrated by Gustav Dore. The entire width of the visible image is 2.5 inches. Taken with the Canon 1.4x extender in conjunction with a Canon 12mm extension tube - a technique I had not tried before.

Jinn: “Jeepers creepers! It ain’t no fun.
I still can’t believe, it is really 2021.

Judas Iscariot the narrator: “Jinn was free so he felt excited, you could hear his heart beat.”
Maymun mumbled magic words: hocus, pocus, focus.
After few seconds our guys disappeared to the new location near the graveyard (close to the railroad station).”
Chucky: “Bloody brilliant we are now in the city of Zadar.”
Jinn: “Holy Aladár, in my time this city was called Iadera.”
Chucky: “Oh heck, I thought that teleportation is only possible in Star Trek.
Can you teach me this magic?”
Jinn: “I am afraid not, you are asking a lot. Many who tried it ended tragic.”
Chucky: “You are something, a truly magician king.
Sorry dude that I was today so rude.”
Jinn: “It's ok. Btw what is a police?”
Chucky: “Well, bloody hell… It's a long & complicated story…
In short police want to hunt me like I am a wild quarry.
It is important that you and I built a peace.”
Jinn: “I always used real magic instead of cheap trick. Before few moments it was just a small act to prove you that I ain’t no freak. Btw who are you, what are you? I never saw anyone like you before?”
Chucky: I am who I am, the Lord of Darkness is my idol
As a human I played with dangerous Damballa chant
It is pity that my soul have been trapped inside this shitty doll

The time for freedom and endless fun. The holidays are our only time to excuse ourselves from the busy world. Never is there a better time to visit family, explore unseen sights, relax at the beach, or even pursue your favourite hobbies. Dawdling at home would not maximise the amount of bliss the summer provides, as sooner than later, the holidays would have gone by, and the demanding year would start again.

So, the message is clear, don't waste the holidays. Go out, do something new, embrace the freedom, and enjoy the holiday fun. Because there may not be any other moment in the future to enjoy such liberties... (Especially within the current conditions of 21st century!)

El 1996, fou declarada Patrimoni de la Humanitat per la UNESCO.
La Lonja de la Seda es un edificio civil de estilo gótico valenciano tardío, en el centro histórico de la ciudad.

La Llotja de la Seda is a late Valencian Gothic-style civil building in the historic center of the city.
The building was built between 1482 and 1548 and undoubtedly symbolizes the power and wealth of the Valencian Golden Age (15th century). It is a sample of the scope of the commercial revolution during the late Middle Ages, of social development and of the prestige achieved by the Valencian bourgeoisie.
In 1996, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
I'm still working on my infrared skills and am still in the experimentation and discovery phase.

Originally created for an exhibition of the photographer platform Kamerata in Zwolle. Unfortunately the lockdown put a hold to that.
The original idea came to me for last year's exhibition (that was also cancelled) with the theme Freedom.
The final image is a combination of two shots, I would have liked to use just one but on the one with the nice sparks the flash did not fire :-(

While I call it chromatic aberration, it is in fact the result of a picture I took during the Olafur Eliasson exhibition at the Tate Modern in London. It’s called uncertain shadow.

The Dixie Diner in T² Park at the end of Market Street is said to have food almost as good as Boop's Scoops. But the service just doesn't measure up.

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92023 heads south across the Dutton Viaduct with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16) as the sun begins to rise over the River Weaver.
I took the original photo in Jacksonville, Oregon but spent several hours transforming it into it's present form. Aside from replacing the dull sky & changing the color of the car (it was gray), I removed a car that was sitting in the driveway, a fire hydrant & wires that crossed sky, trees & roof. Fun with Photoshop!
Update: After a little online image searching, I discovered that this is a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe.
