Anybody ever use one of these? A DIY fluoroscope. Stick your feet in and look at the bones in your feet so the shoe salesman can fit you better. You look from your side and the salesman and your mom look from the double side . Cool, eh?
This image of Reggie's left stifle (knee) shows how arthritic he has become. If his ruptured cranial cruciate ligament had been tended to when the injury happened, he wouldn't have this degree of arthritis now. a solar plate of the first xray taken of my leg after my accident. looks pretty gnarly huh? that's because it's broken in two (technically 3 places) and is dislocated at the ankle.

I've been a bit quiet on the picture front. The last six months have been quite hectic. The high point being the recent house move for the second time in 6 months!
While checking a problem with my scanner, I scanned one of the wooden alligators I have. I noticed it looked a bit Xray-ish. I played around with the original pink-ish test scan and et voilà the illusion is complete.
I use this in my desktop slide show now and thought I'd share.
This is one of the xrays of my broken arm from my bicycle accident. You can't really see the breaks in this xray. At least I can't. But they tell me they are there.

Pam has a lot of problems with her knees. She's been taking anti inflammatory tablets but still the swelling persists.
The doctor decided to send her for an x-ray to see what was going on. Radiology and other numerous ologies are carried out at a clinic in Orihuela so that is where she went.
Within half an hour Pam, had the pictures in her hand ready to take back to the doctor.
The process would have been quicker but they only had a skeleton staff on that day -boom boom!!
See how the bones don't meet smoothly and are bent at an angle. Nothing is supposed to poke up like you see there. The doctor says I probably broke my collarbone years ago and didn't get it treated. It healed wrong.
I injured my shoulder 5 years ago taking out a tree stump. Went to the doctor and they didn't seem to notice.
