This is an x-ray of my cat, Groganov. What you're looking at here is about a linear foot of cat poo followed by a giant nascent cat fart, inflating his lower intestine.

I was hoping for a better quality image, but this photo I took in the emergency room of Maui Memorial Hospital is the best I have. After watching the sunrise at Haleakala, I took a spill on a 180-degree switchback while bicycling back down to the town of Haiku. The result was a compression fracture of my left distal radius. The ER team did a great job, but the nature of the break dictated a plate and screws be inserted. Such is life.

Obstructing non-small cell lung carcinoma. Close examination shows at least 3 subtle right lung nodules: (1) in the upper zone overlying the right 5th rib and clavicle, (2) over the right posterior 7th rib, and (3) peripherally in the right lower zone, overlying the right 9th rib. The right paratracheal station also appears bulky. The lateral film confirms the collapse and also shows the upper nodule well.
