The X-Ray Bee was a special release from Playmaxx. Playmaxx had just filled a special order to Hyper Yo-Yo of Japan for their Hyper Wasp, and made some extra parts for this special release. One of the most beautiful Bees ever made. These came in a special plastic box with lots of extras. Only about 800 X-Ray Bees were made. Notice the logo shows the domain name of www.proyo.com. An earlier very limited release of the X-Ray Bee was sold only at the Proyo Worlds in 1999, and did not have the domain name on that logo.
The black arrow points to the roof of a pneumatocoele of ther lower left lung. A pneumatocoele is an abscess that rapidly enlarges due to an inflammatory flap valve obstruction of the communicating bronchus that traps air distally during expiration.
Not happy
I am always resistant to xrays, but this dental practice just sold and i suspect they want to make bank, xrays 6 months ago and now again......they say he has an interior over bite on his back molars........will assess ortho recommend AFTER his adult molars come in, HUH? then why NOW are we xraying?
and the tech was NOT nice, she kept yelling at him to stop breathing out of his mouth, he was gagging on the slide thing they put in his mouth
might switch after 10 years here BUT Dr Gray sold it and we travel to Minden, Nevada for this?
he was literally sticking his toungue out at the tech behind her back, but i failed to capture that, he did it like 6 times!!!!

A close-up of the third x-ray view of Robert's arm. I've highlighted the fracture in this one -- look for a y-shaped crack in the upper left arm bone (the radius).
Anybody ever use one of these? A DIY fluoroscope. Stick your feet in and look at the bones in your feet so the shoe salesman can fit you better. You look from your side and the salesman and your mom look from the double side . Cool, eh?
This image of Reggie's left stifle (knee) shows how arthritic he has become. If his ruptured cranial cruciate ligament had been tended to when the injury happened, he wouldn't have this degree of arthritis now. His imminent surgery will halt the damage, but it won't make it better. (X-ray courtesy of the Richmond Animal Hospital.)
a solar plate of the first xray taken of my leg after my accident. looks pretty gnarly huh? that's because it's broken in two (technically 3 places) and is dislocated at the ankle.

I've been a bit quiet on the picture front. The last six months have been quite hectic. The high point being the recent house move for the second time in 6 months!
While checking a problem with my scanner, I scanned one of the wooden alligators I have. I noticed it looked a bit Xray-ish. I played around with the original pink-ish test scan and et voilà the illusion is complete.
I use this in my desktop slide show now and thought I'd share.

The two wires in the knee were removed in December during surgery #4.
This is one of the xrays of my broken arm from my bicycle accident. You can't really see the breaks in this xray. At least I can't. But they tell me they are there.
