Xray of my 14 year olds broken tibia

TTC Bloor-Danforth line at Bathurst Station.

The same arm one week after surgery. The strange shape between my arm and body is a button in the sling.

The titanium plate is really that big.

Doctor Boring does great work.

My new Vinyl like cases, I've developed and new technique of printed cases with felt inside. Hand cut and machine sewn and washable with warm water and mild soap!

This one Glows in the Dark! FUN

2nd xray (1st at a dentist)

i was teaching a camera lesson, and some guy ran up and grabbed my cam and ran off.

i got up and chased, tried to grab him while running at full speed. he slipped away, causing me to fall. i landed on my shoulder, slid... and dislocated it. this was taken after it was reset in the ER.

had to cxl an afternoon shoot, evening shoot, and a shoot for tomorrow. *sigh*

amazingly, while i chased this guy yelling "STOP THAT GUY, HE STOLE MY CAMERA!!!!", not a single pedestrian showed even the slightest concern.

even more amazingly, somebody showed up a few minutes later and returned the camera. he said he confronted the guy, basically "give me the camera" and... he got it back for me!

wow. so, there are still some outstanding citizens (albeit, i recognize the danger he put himself into by confronting this thief)...

i'm guessing my medical bill is gonna be about $2500. yeah, happy 2008 everyone. LOL.

I am finally at that age that these kind of tests are strongly recommended. ::le sigh::

The process itself is simple enough - go into a cold room wearing nothing but a sheet, place your boobs on a cold plate, apply lots of pressure to said boobs, then hold breathe, scan, let breathe out, put clothes on, leave.

out of a broken dsl-modem (i think overvoltage damage)

the chip looks brown from the outside, worse on the inside as you see.

That's what will happen to your arm when you arm wrestle with me.

Periodontic disease - lose of bone matter in the jaw.

Quick proof of concept in Photoshop. Shot by Rachel on her 5D Mk ii with my pride and joy and rather rare Medical Nikkor 200mm f/5.6, on a NikkorF -> EOS adapter.

xray body in stained glass window

This foot radiograph is labeled with the different anatomical structures labeled on a foot x-ray.

Guys! This is why I haven't been able to walk straight lately!

I think x-ray shots are a bit morbid; they're sort of little reminders of our own mortality. But, ANYWAY, this IS a photoblog!

Sorry if you are squeamish, dudes and ladies!
