x-ray spam is the best spam

The old Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. Fun abandoned place, it still had flickering electricity in some places. It was cool and concerning since I was here when it was raining heavy. Rain water was everywhere

testing a new idea. Unfortunately my cam sensor picked alot of noise. So, sorry about that but you get the idea...

Zone plate and xray film

Ouch

xray of my grandmothers arm taken with my cameraphone. Her poor little arm is pretty much a big piece of metal now! She also has two pins in the top of her leg from the same fall. She looks to be the bionic woman on xrays.

Typography made in photoshop. Well organized PSD file and 26 individuals JPEG ’s. 12cmx12cm 300 DPI .

BEST VIEWED LARGE ~ Love how my little Olympus has a see-thru feature. I forget to use it. Here's the workings of my right hand. Now where are those dogs...

Multiple eXposure of non X-rated X-ray of my right knee on an old-fashioned X-ray lightboX. This XXX-ray isn't a Xylograph. No Xyster was used during my TKR in 2012 as far as I know. I'm now waiting for a left TKR - on hold because of Covid-19.

Xray of my 14 year olds broken tibia

High resolution radiograph.

The same arm one week after surgery. The strange shape between my arm and body is a button in the sling.

The titanium plate is really that big.

Doctor Boring does great work.

My new Vinyl like cases, I've developed and new technique of printed cases with felt inside. Hand cut and machine sewn and washable with warm water and mild soap!

This one Glows in the Dark! FUN

i was teaching a camera lesson, and some guy ran up and grabbed my cam and ran off.

i got up and chased, tried to grab him while running at full speed. he slipped away, causing me to fall. i landed on my shoulder, slid... and dislocated it. this was taken after it was reset in the ER.

had to cxl an afternoon shoot, evening shoot, and a shoot for tomorrow. *sigh*

amazingly, while i chased this guy yelling "STOP THAT GUY, HE STOLE MY CAMERA!!!!", not a single pedestrian showed even the slightest concern.

even more amazingly, somebody showed up a few minutes later and returned the camera. he said he confronted the guy, basically "give me the camera" and... he got it back for me!

wow. so, there are still some outstanding citizens (albeit, i recognize the danger he put himself into by confronting this thief)...

i'm guessing my medical bill is gonna be about $2500. yeah, happy 2008 everyone. LOL.

I am finally at that age that these kind of tests are strongly recommended. ::le sigh::

The process itself is simple enough - go into a cold room wearing nothing but a sheet, place your boobs on a cold plate, apply lots of pressure to said boobs, then hold breathe, scan, let breathe out, put clothes on, leave.

From thedailylumenbox.blog Rollei Infrared 400 pushed two stops. Camera malfunction.
