Spent a good part of today wrapping presents. I am trying to stay on top of our Holiday prep since I have some surgery scheduled on the 17th...Still waiting for an Amazon order, and I have to do a little more baking!
Day 141 of 365.
Being in the southern hemisphere we really don't have a concept of a "White Christmas" I really do hope we get to experience one at some point, since our Christmas day is usually a steaming hot day in front of a braai near a pool or ocean.
So for Hereios : Snow and TOTW : "Happy Holidays" I made so seriously bad fake snow using some sparkly Christmas wrapping paper
I was going to try for Hereios and ODC, but I could not get the custom bokeh design right using a snowflake symbol. I just don't have the skill with scissors.

To another TIE Interceptor set. Instead of having two of them to fly around the house, though, he'd like to exchange it for other Star Wars related merch.

You know what we need like we need a hole in the head? More wrapping paper. But, Schnookie got a gift card from Container Store so.... MOAR WRAPPING PAPER!!! There was some talk about how great these are going to look wrapping suspiciously-shaped tubular presents (i.e. needlepoint canvases). We hope Santa's elves were listening!
It doesn't seem too early to be this excited for Christmas because the weather the last two days has been shockingly cold with even more shockingly cold gusts of wind.
Zig came out of nowhere to reclaim the wrapping paper from Roxy. If you look at his back feet you can see that he has just stomped her head!

The prompt for today was "Wrapped with Love". Well, my gifts will be wrapped with love... if I ever get around to wrapping them!

Candi and I have exchanged Christmas (and other assorted) gifts for a few years now and last year she even made us a special Red Cat Angel to honor the memory of our precious boy that passed away in September 2006, it tops our tree now every year.
This year when our delightful box of goodies arrived, I was immediately blown away buy some of the wrapping paper which had kitties on it and can you believe, the orange tabby looks exactly like our Red Cat! Art immediately knew which photo it resembled so I've made a comparative diptych and I don't think there's any denying where the source for this cute "painting" came from.
Candi, I may have forgotten to mention it before but DAMN GOOD FIND GIRL! :-)
My current door decoration. I hate decorating my door. Notice the big bottle of Germex that greets the students as they enter the room! Haha!

Sebastian opening presents on the morning of his second birthday. He understood the present thing this time! This is the best of a fairly poor batch of present-opening photos, unfortunately.
