My Swirling Leaves Wallpaper in Vriendin

I don't exactly have very many Christmas decorations, but I wanted to decorate at least a little bit for the holidays, so I strung up some tiny lanterns and tissue paper garlands with a few glass baubles. Kinda ghetto, but they look sweet (as in adorable not surfer awesome) hanging in front of the presents I wrapped this afternoon.

We don't have a tree so rather than pile up the presents under one of the house plants I decided to put them on display instead.

I'm wrapping Christmas presents and catching up on Tivo tonight. That's dad's present with the snowflake.

Looks like someone has a little Christmas wrapping paper addiction, hm?

But in my defense, some of these rolls are almost used up, and all were bought at after-Christmas sale price, so it's not as bad as it looks. (g)

Digital camera, laser cut card onto brown paper, unfinished final piece. Product for a positive design for wrapping paper,

I was happy to see some books well-received by my sister, mother, and father this year. I got some lovely and thoughtful gifts myself. Jenn surprised me with a lovely note inside the wrapping of her wonderful gift.

later today we might go skating.

The paper is from my dear friend Amanda's Mother's Mother's fiftes boutique, called "Tots and Teens." We attended a Birthday party were this paper appeared on presents, and I saved it from the trash! Ithink it's incredible....

I also had the stroke of incredible good luck, I talked a friend who is getting married soon into visiting a wholesale floral place here in town. It's been calling to me for a while, and I'm soooo glad I checked it out! I got FIVE packs of vintage millinary flowers (this is just one here), and sooo much more!

My (lacey) wrapping of these took less than 10 minutes and they turned out fabulous.

Lil Emma joined us back in Edgworth to celebrate Grumps latest Birtday. She was even so good as to get him a present and a card...though I think she may have got some help!

My precious family crib ready to be unwrapped. The set was given to us last year by my Mother after I searched every shop in Liverpool and Knutsford for the one in my mind...basically this one!!

It comes with an additional "Jesus" as family tradition goes that Jesus is "born" (placed in the crib) after getting back from Midnight Mass. But as children my sister and I used to argue over the privilege of putting Jesus into the crib my mother made another baby so both of us could put him in. We are now 33 and 31 with children of our own, but the crib still has two!
