I stole Wild Olive's super simple wrapping idea at Christmas and have been testing the limits of it with various decorations. These are die-cut hearts that I glue onto the paper before folding and sewing.

Since today was Marcus the Airedale's 3rd birthday, I had planned to have him featured as the 16th photo, but he was uncooperative. I may still try again another day.

Thankfully, my cousin Noreen sent us a HUGE care package filled with awesomeness. As usual, the awesomeness was most expertly wrapped. So I present to you, the first gift of Christmas!

'A snowman and the red spotted wrapping paper, merry christmas to you all' by Heather McCubbin

Every year I try to find a new way to wrap my Christmas gifts. The one common thread is usually kraft paper because it is just SO much cheeper and more durable than regular wrapping paper. This year I hot glued little glittery circles to each gift. Each gift receiver has their own color code (Raya = pink and blue, Tommy = red and light blue, Mom = red & dark blue, etc.) Not my favorite convention, but it still turned out pretty!
