I don't know why the orangutan had wrapping paper or why he was eating it, but for a brief moment he lifted the paper from his face to look at us, then pulled it back down and continued his midday snack.
Ooook!
One of the zaniest parts of Christmas round these parts is our stockings. Crammed full of candy and other odd and intriguing products we usually have a fair dose of stuff from the dollar store in ours. Wandering these places opens you to a plethora of badly translated products. The translation on this one is a blast!
The past 3 years I've taken to using art papers and found objects to wrap gifts and make cards. Purely a hobby. I have not had any classes so I have no idea what is "right." I do know they're not what you'd find in a usual store.
This basket has a nice feel, made of darker wicker, lush bows with little holly berries dripping from the baskets bow!

I started wrapping Christmas presents earlier today, but had to stop when my son came home. Later he went sledding with his daddy and I was able to continue.

A Day In the Life Of... Flickr group
Today is Mr Boxhead's birthday. Well, technically I suppose Mr Boxhead is only about 135-140 days old...but you know what I mean. I decided to forgo the "365 Days" tradition of taking your birthday photo in your birthday suit (my gift to you all...you can thank me later) and instead used an idea given to me by Babs. Thanks m'dear. You always inspire me.
