You know what we need like we need a hole in the head? More wrapping paper. But, Schnookie got a gift card from Container Store so.... MOAR WRAPPING PAPER!!! There was some talk about how great these are going to look wrapping suspiciously-shaped tubular presents (i.e. needlepoint canvases). We hope Santa's elves were listening!

Wrapping paper found at estate sale in Los Angeles, CA.

The past 3 years I've taken to using art papers and found objects to wrap gifts and make cards. Purely a hobby. I have not had any classes so I have no idea what is "right." I do know they're not what you'd find in a usual store.

We had a craft day and handmade some wrapping paper for a wedding gift using potato stamps. I hadn't made these since I was in preschool, and I'm pretty sure someone else did the cutting at that time. Even though my cutting skills aren't awesome, this project turned out super great. Now make your own!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Mine was well-spent with family in Ohio and also here in Indiana.

This is a shot that mainly contributes to the overall texture of the project. I would like to see it as part of a collage but it doesn't hold much photographic merit of its own. It just looks pretty.

I paint a border on the tissue paper I use to wrap carved animals for shipping. The red plastic is the stencil I cut, with many animals. The silver object is the airbrush. And the rest are different colors of the finished product.
