Traditionally, each year I do a group shot of all the gifts arranged real nice, but this year, I didn't really coordinate the wrapping paper like I usually do. So I thought I'd go minimalist instead.

I enjoyed yesterday's shot so much that I just had to reuse the wrapping paper background again. BTW Ikea has the coolest wrapping paper designs!
this one was inspired by my mom. she suggested having all the mini-mes under the tree, wrapping gifts and climbing and playing with ornaments. . .which i would have loved to create, except our tree is pretty barren, because our cats are naughty (they climb the tree & bite the lights!) . . . anyway, today was a nice day. i had off and i got my hair done & i got to talk to my parents, who i miss, dearly!!!!!
and now. . . i'm dreading the long day of work (& snow) tomorrow.
Taken with my Nikon F4 film camera and AF Micro-Nikkor 55 mm f/2.8 lens, using expired (2004) Kodacolor 200 film.

I believe that this is Hallmark paper from the 70's, but the scraps I received, did not have the dates or makers included, so that is just a guess.

This paper lined my drawers and shelves when I was a child. I saved it...just for sentimental reasons I suppose and because it is a pretty funky retro design. It's probably from the mid 70s, if not earlier.
Google (and one of our other cats) loves tearing through a pile of Christmas wrap so I don't know how I can ever throw it away.
