Kudos to the North Norfolk Railway. Their wrapping paper this year was AWESOME.

....and now I'm really wired!"

Dora had a blast on Christmas morning, playing with all the catnip toys and romping around in the tissue and wrapping paper!

I created some custom wrapping paper with a roll of brown kraft paper, paints, and simple foam stamps. It was fun to do, and I like the way it came out, but tape didn't stick to it very well when I wrapped the package! Oh well -- I used ribbon to hold it together instead.

Trying to use more bags - less wrap!

boy wraps christmas gifts - from the archives

this year i'll be mainly printing my own wrapping paper...blogged!

I've actually managed to get some presents wrapped.

The art on these is gorgeous and you have to love the Santa Alvin packaging on the wrapping paper! Most likely some of the first items to use the new Chipmunk Adventure animation art.

I think Christmas morning is the day looked forward to all year the most by our cockatoo Moe. We don't encourage nesting behaviour in him (and he's 42 years old now) as he becomes an absolute toerag of a bird.

However, since it's Christmas we lighten up a bit and let him go silly in the wrapping paper. We bring in a bin from outside and throw the paper in there. He just goes nuts for it.

This year the bin was a bit grotty - that's why he looks filthy in these shots.

He totally exhausted himself after this. It was quite funny actually.

hand skelleton - designed by Jeremy Shafer, folded by me. 12 cm chocolate wrapping paper

This took the longest and it had to be wrapped inch by inch to move with the letters.

This was my nesting envelope that ended up with Stewart. Somehow he was actually able to read some of the letter on the back....
