It took me a little time to think about this one!! So, in the end I used some light green "see-through" wrapping paper that my wife has to block out some light. I did like the effect the light made when falling across the paper!

Sorry to take so long with December's Welcome. I have been working like a mad women trying to decorate the house for this past weekend for the granddaughter's. I had a Christmas cookie baking night for Monique and Jasmine and a friend of theirs. At the last minute I decided I would decorate the house for them all Christmasy. Well, while I was unwrapping the Christmas decorations Tessa decidied to give me a hand and run in and out of the wrapping paper. She had so much fun checking every thing out. She'll have even more fun when the Christmas tree goes up next weekend. Please drop by to check out all the fun here in San Diego as we watch through Tessa's eyes the mircle of her FIRST CHRISTMAS.

Children are so delightful and very often ingenious as shown here where the children delight in finding the wrapping paper from a baby shower to play in. They got completely engrossed in the activity!

Making our own wrapping paper using the back of old wallpaper. Acrylic paint, stamp pad, stamps, cotton reels, apple halves, leaves, branches and seed pods from the garden. Goes hand in hand when most of the gifts are handmade and 2nd hand. #greenchristmas #recycling #homemade #wrappingpaper
