Detail from a wrapping paper that I've just done for Nineteenseventythree.

Old mannequins' ruined feet are a super easy photographic cliché but I felt that it would be okay to relax a little bit during my visit to Oshkosh.

Plus there's an airconditioning vent to stop the window displays from sublimating in the brutal sunshine of the hot summer of '10.

Found this paper in Target. I will be using and reusing this for years (I reuse wrapping paper).

It is made in China and has a high carbon footprint...but I still like wrapping paper and try to savor it and reuse it and finally recycle to allow its carbon footprint to go down. This is my small attempt to balance environment and old familiar traditions....that I still hold as remembrance of christmases past.

This one is so cool I bought it used it and am trying to figure out a neat craft to do with it.

Photo taken and mosaic created for Our Daily Challenge: Abstract.

As usual I got carried with this challenge. My first attempt is below, but I decided that it wasn't jazzy enough. Above is the 13th. My abstracts are NEVER computer generated. They all start from a photo. This is of holographic wrapping paper. The one below is of a block print of a mountian scene.

Scroll up and down for a moving experience.

For my little cousins birthday ^_^
