Adelaide-Skye: Doing a little workout. Have to test the exercise bike we found at the flea markt

I've gone and joined a gym. I have not worked out in any organized fasion in about 3 1/2 years.

 

Coming home the first day is always an eye opener. The picture is pretty acurate for how I felt after 40 minutes on the elliptical machine and a round on the weight machines: a bit washed out and fuzzy.

My husband has not been running on the treadmill lately, he has just been moving snow. He has to make paths for us to walk outside with the dogs and he likes it to me away from the foundation of the house.

Took this photo at the gym as I was getting ready to leave after a good workout. It is super cold outside today, 27 degrees.. I hoped my pink sweater would do, but at least I was warm from the workout ;)

Managed to get myself out to workout after finishing work at 7 pm, then

45 mins drive back home (should be 30 mins but not in dc traffic).

 

Did supersets, then got out on the track. I started on the lane one as

first lap, move to second lane as second lap, and so on. Toward the 8th

lane, I was panting hard and fighting against the eastern wind. I feel

good, able to get "knots" out of my body. Hope to keep it up.
