This is the Benny yarn that I spun into a single and then was too afraid to ply for the longest time...I finally got up the courage and plied it and it went pretty well, I think. The resulting yarn is really soft and pretty, I love the natural brown color.

I love the colors in this! And it's so soft! They only had 3 balls, but they were all from the same dye lot. Now they have none. =)

Did I do it right? Does this look like proper hand spun yarn?? Will it unspin on me?? I have this huge doubt in my mind that I did it wrong because it seemed almost too easy. Me being uncordinated I really have doubts :( I know its not super tight or really professional looking but I wanted to learn to spin to make thicker wools.
This is a crocheted hat that I took inspiration from the movie "The Lovely Bones"

You know what kind of jawbreaker I'm talking' about - the sort you BEGGED your mom to let you have, the one that would never have fit into anyone human's mouth, the kind that probably only ever gets half-finished before it's discarded.
You won't do that with this yarn, that's for sure.
More color than some people can handle, the soft, squishy merino swirls through every color in the rainbow, taking angelina sparkle with it - just because! I corespun this over a purple cotton thread, for extra body and wear. Soft enough to wear next to the skin, but you'll want to show it off, trust me.

I knit these three hats as part of my own personal Dulaan-a-Than on June 3 - I used Ken's Dulaan Hat pattern from Stephanie Pearl-McPhee and size 15 Denise needles, along with three strands of various worsted yarns held together - my gauge was 2 stitches to the inch!
