I just dyed/ spun up a fresh new batch! 32 colors, stripes through a rainbow that doesn't repeat.

One ball Cascade 220 in a gray heather color, one ball Lion Wool in a colorway called Majestic Mountain. These oddballs from my stash look like they should be able to work together somehow, but how? Definitely not enough contrast for a Fair Isle pattern or most slip-stitch mosaic patterns. Maybe something tweedy. Only more swatching will tell.

I've been giving the owl a lot of thought... I had to simplify the eyes a bit and I wanted to figure out a way of making him in one piece.

Bracelet "My rest in the Garden"

Materials: 100% merino, polymer clay, silk, linen.

This is the first pair of socks I ever made. It was with Scheepjes Invicta Extra on 2.75mm needles. I used the Socks a la Carte pattern book as a guide, then altered the pattern to fit Jabin. Each sock took me a week of fairly consistent work to make! I used a Dutch heel. I am fairly happy with it, but there ended up being quite a little hole on one side of the gusset, which seemed to be caused by the slip-stitch pattern of the heel. I am going to have to figure out how to fix that.

He loves 'em, though! I hope they last!

68 yards and 4.2 whopping oz of crazy handspun goodness. A huge and chunky yarn! There is wool, bamboo, mohair and tons of bling and glitz. This was spun from an awesome "oh hell" batt from the talented HollyEQQ!

They’re not perfect, but they’re woolly, simple, and warm. And I knit them!
