Springy Polypay wool hand spun into a heavy worsted yarn. Then, I kettle dyed with a natural dye that I extracted from yellow onion skins.

I'm not sure what my rainbow kick is these days, but I couldn't resist. I mean ... look at it!

Lace weight - also a gift from Crystal that I've had for years but thought I'd lost and rediscovered when I was cleaning out my old office after quitting my job.

...which the yarn store tried to convince the Hub that he would love a pair of socks from this. He didn't buy that...but did buy the yarn for me to use.

I change my opinion every so often about what this reminds me of. Sometimes it's citrus, sometimes it's Starburst wrappers, sometimes it's just orange. October 6, when everyone else was working on autumn colors, this is what I brought out.
