yarn for the sock pattern I'm working on
I love this yarn - great stitch definition, beautiful heathered colors, and it softens up nicely in a wool wash bath.
Woot! My main TDF goal of processing and spinning a bunch of petting zoo Jacob wool is done.
Carded on cards I got at Urban Fauna's opening day, and spun on my Mach 1, also from U.F.S.
A little over 16 oz. 2-ply, 630 yards. Started with 22 oz of wash fiber and have a couple ounces of singles left.

Felts okay, love the colours. Gorgeous yarn, just like handspun, thick and thin.
Purchased to make the Lizard Ridge Blanket.
This is the Benny yarn that I spun into a single and then was too afraid to ply for the longest time...I finally got up the courage and plied it and it went pretty well, I think. The resulting yarn is really soft and pretty, I love the natural brown color.

I love the colors in this! And it's so soft! They only had 3 balls, but they were all from the same dye lot. Now they have none. =)

Did I do it right? Does this look like proper hand spun yarn?? Will it unspin on me?? I have this huge doubt in my mind that I did it wrong because it seemed almost too easy. Me being uncordinated I really have doubts :( I know its not super tight or really professional looking but I wanted to learn to spin to make thicker wools.
This is a crocheted hat that I took inspiration from the movie "The Lovely Bones"

As I think we have previously mentioned we are exceptionally enthusiastic about this fantastic range of blankets.
What more do you require from a blanket the bold block check is simple and yet adds a real statement and the colours, well, whether you chose this fabulous Fuchsia Pink or the Navy and Green both have that essential ingredient – pale grey which injects a modern feel and allows the colours to simply sing.
So get in tune and reap the benefits of this gorgeous fuchsia pink, purple and grey check blanket in 100% pure new wool.
