Weekly theme was multiple exposures. Have never tried this in camera before so thought I'd give it a try. My lazy nature didn't allow me to venture beyond the back deck so this is what I found.

- Wenatchee River in Leavenworth, WA

In medieval times, it was called 'acqua vitae'. In Gaelic, it is called 'uisghe beatha' -- literally, water of life -- a traditional Scottish drink. This one is a 15-year-old Dalwhinnie single malt.

A bit of trivia for my international Flickr-friends: In Scotland, 'whisky' is spelled without an 'e'.

For 7DOS shoot anything - I love London & coffee shops, but loathe being out in the rain!

My parents had a clear out on the weekend and found this; it’s an old drawing of mine from when I was a child. It’s very eerie to see this as it could have been painted yesterday.

It is quite a good Childs eye view of the English riots which happened last week.

I also find myself a little troubled that I painted this when I was maybe 10 years old, what the hell I was thinking. Surely kids don’t paint this kinda stuff!?

I’d just like to add that I have turned out a well rounded individual with a good heart.

And as I totally forgot to take a self portrait this week I have tagged myself in the picture, as a good guy of course.

Thursday, July 2nd at 7:12 p.m. I am one of several folks across the globe that took a picture at this exact moment. Our optional theme was sky. ~~~ We are all under the same big sky here, so this is my little corner of it. My home is surrounded by trees in every direction. This here is the biggest piece of sky I rent, just before a quick rain came.

This is the first brew of the Southern Star Brewing Company of Conroe Texas. The can says that it is non filtered, never pasteurized, and it shows.

It's dazzling how well the Tamron 150-600mm lens does with the Canon D7 Mark II body - Shot by Adam :)

Top floor of the Barclays Building in London. The Olympic Stadium is out there somewhere in the middle.

Here are a few signs at the park we go to. Obviously someone there has a sense of humor. I didn't notice all the little signs until I went there today to take pictures. My favorite one being don't sit on the fence it upsets the termites. There were more, but these were the best.

The MacArthur Bridge. Spanning the Detroit River between Detroit, Michigan and Belle Isle.

and that's all right with me. We were in the Jungle. Jungle Jim's, that is. A great international grocery in Fairfield, Ohio. For you not familiar with Ohio, Fairfield is just north of Cincinnati. I recommend it if you are ever in the area. It is one heck of a shopping experience. And don't forget to go to the bathroom... Monkey loved it but was disappointed that we were not allowed to take his photo inside.
