This weeks theme is mystery and I was unsure what I was going to do until this morning when I was up and out for sunrise.
The mystery is where has the blue mist come from and what is at the other side of the lake. I know the answers.
I often take photos out the car window on road trips. This time I played with slower shutter speeds and got some interesting blurred shots. This is my favorite.
This week is where the autumn colors peak down in southern Sweden. Last year was a success to catch that colors =)
First rays of light finding their way down in the valley.

we've had months without rain, in the rainy PNW, USA .....temps in the 80's and 90's. finally a week of rain, that old friend stops by....
Almost, but not quite summer. I graduate next Friday.
I'll fill in the rest at some other time, but here's for this week. I'll get back to selfies eventually.

This week the girls all wore the same garmet with the same rural set. Who rocked it the best?

Brian and I once again went on a shoot together and froze to death.
I came home and was really disappointed with my pictures.
I kept editing and kept trying new things until I came up with this.
Flickr over-sharpens everything and it's really frustrating.
Anyway.

Im a little busy last time but hopefully will catch with your photostreams asap.
I received a handmade card from a friend recently and this little piece of art was adhered to the front. It was done by one of the kids at the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church as part of a card selling fundraiser. I liked it so much I framed it. This is part of that little piece of lovely art.
Construction, Week 66
This week at the Hernando Kroger Marketplace is essentially no different than last week, on the surface: a quick look around (or an overview of the site, such as this one) shows there's still just a lot of dirt everywhere. But upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that a lot has been done to that dirt!

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

As the project moves closer to it’s finale, I inevitably run thin on ideas. Well, thats not entirely true. I have boat loads of ideas...ideas that require money, talent, and time to produce. All of which I seem to be short of as the year winds down. I have a few more interesting concepts I’m trying to pull off and with a little bit of luck, and my typical determination, I should make them happen. I’m heading to South Florida next week for 14 days. I have 6 shoots and a little family time planned and then it’s back to Vegas to finish out the year and project. Hopefully, it'll be with a bang!
Tonight's photo is actually a remake of a shot from Project365. (insert photo). I wanted to try the female version this time. I modified my beauty dish to give me a sliver of light by increasing the size of the center reflector from 6 inches to just over 10 inches. However, without having the camera directly in the center, you really don’t get to appreciate the sliver of light the beauty dish produced.
Lighting: AB800, Single Beauty Dish, 3/4 power. 8:00 from camera
Theme Of The Week - DIY Effects
My parents have a red cut glass serving bowl. This is what it looks like when the sun shines through it.
Year X Week 01 1-7/1/19
This is the first one of the year and already a week or so late. Trying to start the 10th year on the right foot, didn't really work out as smoothly as I wanted it to. However, as I've long found out, it's better to post late than not post at all.
Took this in Perth outside the Cathedral on a warm Saturday night in the city. Festive lights were still aglow, and everybody was still in party mode. More soon.
Week 12 - 24-31 March
So goes another Australian Grand Prix. Here's a mash up of some of the sights at the GP, namely the hood of a Ferrari, Vettel's Ferrari on track, and a Ferrari fan... Again I'm not a Ferrari fan, but the colours are too good to resist. More next week.
We're under way at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario!
Cleveland looks beautiful as we host the start of MLB All Star Week at Progressive Field.
Week 4's topic is "Bottle".
This is Isle of Harris Gin, the wife's favourite and mine too even though I'm a whiskey man!
It took a lot of work this one and I'm 99% happy with it I have to say and so hope you are too.
oh my god this is absolutely terrible, but nothing was coming out the way i wanted it to with this shot, so i just decided to play around with it.
collar bone shots are a failure to me.
anyways, i've pretty much hated this week and loved this week all at the same time.
losing my best friend, and making new ones. it's all a little crazy. but whatever. i'm fine. i don't need someone in my life who doesn't appreciate me for who i am, and that will leave at any sign of trouble, and then get her mother to turn against me too. :]
love life.
