Took advantage of the fantastic weather to blend 3 images from sunset, dusk and twilight along the Thames last night. All taken with a tripod in exactly the same position.
Sorry guys, this one is out of topic. This is a picture of "le prisonnier" of V. Van Gogh, fondation Louis Vuitton, collection Morozov
Another splash, I can't help it, now that it's warm I can't resist dipping my feet into the lake.

Year X Week 34 18-25/8/19
Another from Phu Quoc. This time it's from the world's longest cable car. This was from above one of the islands that the cable car crosses. This lone fishing boat, with the fisherman on board (if you look closely enough), thought it would make for a great tilt-shift shot. More soon.

This week the girls had to do a motion shot and they were each assigned a neon color to wear. In this photo the japanese writing says "The Color Yellow".

The Golden Week is a collection of four national holidays within seven days. In combination with well placed weekends, the Golden Week becomes one of Japan's three busiest holiday seasons, besides New Year.
The national holidays making up the Golden Week are:
April 29 Showa Day (Showa no hi):
April 29 is the birthday of former Emperor Showa, who died in the year 1989. Until 2006, Greenery Day (see May 4) used to be celebrated on this day.
May 3 Constitution Day (Kenpo kinenbi):
On this day in 1947, the new post war constitution was put into effect.
May 4 Greenery Day (Midori no hi):
Until 2006, Greenery Day used to be celebrated on April 29, the birthday of former Emperor Showa. The day is dedicated to the environment and nature, because the emperor loved plants and nature.
May 5 Children's Day (Kodomo no hi):
The Boy's Festival (Tango no Sekku) is celebrated on this day. Families pray for the health and future success of their sons by hanging up carp streamers and displaying samurai dolls, both symbolizing strength, power and success in life.

We went on a wine tour and part of the tour was a winery next to Montefioralle. What a peaceful scenic Tuscany village. Thanks for stopping by. Always trying to improve my craft so comments and critiques much appreciated.
I was originally going to buy some sweets and set up a shot but last night's clouds reminded me of some yummy cotton candy.
Thought it was pretty cool to see the leaves all frozen in our birdbath in the front of our house. Looked so pretty!
A cold snap has finally arrived. Being the start of February, that is not so bad. I'm not thrilled with it, but, it could have happened much sooner and more often.
Tetsujin is excited about Roid Week. You should be too!!!
I used a reversed 50mm 1.4 mounted in front of the SX-70 to make this shot. Tetsujin is *tiny.* I'm guessing this to be about a 5x macro. It was fun shooting this.

This week the girls all wore the same garmet with the same rural set. Who rocked it the best?
