So, I'm back! I have all my 52 weeks ready to go, and I've been taking one each week, I promise.
I just edited them all, and they'll be going up over the next couple of days, along with lots of outtakes :)
Week 51 23-29 December
The Penultimate Post for the year. One more post in a couple of days time and we're done for the year.
This was taken at the world famous Kailis Brother Fish Market in Fremantle. The BBQ fish platter is out of this world. More soon.
week 2/52
couldn't decide between 'em, so i put them together. might change my mind later. thoughts appreciated! right or left?
my remote wouldn't work, so i was dashing back and forth from my camera for this. damn technology!
Not sure what has happened to all the bees. Normally hundreds buzzing around these striking flowers, but hardly any around at the moment.
For week 5 all of the contestants had to create a photo using one color on the doll. I decided to use pink/fusha
Week-8 Bridge
The challenge for this week was not "What" but more like "Which" bridge.
The Erasmusbrug (as shown in the challenge) was to obvious for me as I see it every day going to work.
After some research I found 2 bridges that looked exciting. On our way to the spots we saw a bridge running over the highway that looked really nice, so we went out there to get some nice pictures. And actually my best capture was over there and not one of the bridges from my research (those are in the comments).
The bridge is called " The green connection" It is for the citizens from the city Rotterdam to enjoy the nature on the other side of the Highway.
CC is very welcome!!
My intent was to have a frozen bubble for this theme...but even with an awesome soap mix and dozens of bubbles, I couldn't get a nice one. After my fingers started to freeze I gave up... :) I still played with bubbles though.
I've been back to Rodeo Beach a few times now, and every time it's different. The height of the tide, the position of the sun or the weather transforms it and the jagged rocks just into the ocean make it worth the trip. I don't think this is the best photo I've taken here, but it was the most fun. There were a bunch of other photographers there making the most of the conditions, each adjusting tripods and filter combinations, so it was good to chat and see how each of us got different results. I thought I had a good spot, but when the sun nestled between two rocks and flared out everything came together.

Theme: Water/Liquid
My second attempt at capturing a popping water balloon. I think my first attempt (flic.kr/p/dMbQsp) was better.
Hey look, it's me in a field again!
This week has been beyond exhausting, one week until Malta though!
From the garden after stormy weather overnight. In macro because it was difficult to make it look any good.
Week 25 - 24 Jun - 1 Jul 2015
Another really busy week gone past. I2 hour work days even through the weekend, but thankfully, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I did, however, manage to steal a few hours on Saturday to take shots of the soon-to-be-married Devine Ms M.
Here she is being serenaded to by the house band at Crown... well some call it serenading, others might just call it an intoxicated dance... it's a matter of perspective, I guess. More next week.
