It poured for a short time and now the sun is coming out. We sure needed the rain, but we need a whole lot more!
We had 70mph winds last night. Woke up this morning to find our heavy grill had rolled across the deck and blown over. Forgot to tie it down. We often get heavy winds up here. The news showed several big rigs and Rv's that blew over on I-25 near us in Southern Colorado

Testing a rather rare and unusual Osawa lens.
It's been wild and windy weather the last two days and it looks similar today, so I might try and grab a. quick hour with the adders. It's surprising how cold it is some days when they're out. Strange Weather is by Tom Waits.
It was a nice day when we ventured out to The Rame peninsular but that was to soon change with this huge weather front rapidly approaching from the South West, it soon got dark but I had time to shoot a few long exposures before the wind and rain made us drive back to Cawsand and a nice comfortable pub.

The old woman who set up the stall in the end of an empty street (see in the previous photo flic.kr/p/2qbczAr) was finally met with a greeting from a lady she knew (perhaps now a woman delivering takeaways), which triggered an endless stream of whining from the old woman:
‘My old man died, and instead of giving me money, my son and daughter-in-law told me to come out and watch the stall in this weather ...’
