It was a case of watching who would win the storm brewing or the sun shining. The sun certainly lit up and brought out the colour in the Willows flanking the fir trees. Most of England is covered in snow but where I live we didn't get any :-(( !!

On the Elbdeich, the clouds just fly past. The path divides green grass and bright reeds.
or so they tell us--for a bit at least. It's been one blast after another for months, it seems!

Throwback from a trip to Vorupør August 2018. Arrived with late summer temperatures of almost 30°C and 18 hours later a weird storm came in with strong winds and almost 20°C drop in temperature. This is shot halfways out on the wind breaker.

Central Texas, during rare strong storms in November. I waited in position for this cell to graze me for quite some time, and it was worth the wait. It put on a great little lightning show.
That's Jupiter at upper left.
Just too hard to pass a field like this on a nice summer evening. Sunset this time on some round bales. Always like the rounds as they are not as sparse looking on the ground as squares. Nice to see the weather to let the harvest progress.

Hallelujah, I'm finally out hiking my favorite meadow again. Blessed with warmer normal weather for this time in November, pristine blue skies, no winds and rich sun kissed late autumn colors everywhere!
That naughty snow is melting away and no one seems too upset about it!
