We now have doors and windows. This week we hope to see siding and then we will be officially weather-proof!
This was taken this morning in downtown Stillwater. It is the top of the building where Starbucks is located.
Getting ready to work and I looked out the window. Couldn't resist taking the camera for a quick shot.
it would be the size of a quarter, if it were round. it's a little bigger than that. This was around 8pm or so in rural Northern Virginia. It hailed for at least 10 minutes.
At 1530 hours the heavens opened and I dashed (I use the word loosely) outside to take the washing in. The stuff I'd just hung on the line I wasn't bothered about so just put it back in the washer for another spin. The stuff that was on the line just to air, I wasn't pleased it's a LOT wetter than when I put it out, and me, well, I'm soaked too. grumble, grumble, grumble.
See that red spot? Apparently it just spontaneously appeared over our heads. This picture was taken after it had passed over us but I was too busy thinking I was going to get blown away in the tornado that passed over my head to be looking at the radar. I think we had five minutes warning that bad weather was coming. I was in a drive-thru when it hit and I thought the wind was going to flip my car over.
