In the garden of Schonbrunn Palace, summer home of the Habsburg Family. An attempt at rivalling the Palace of Versailles however it didn't ever quite achieve the prestige associated with Verailles.

Lovely clear water

This sculpture is designed to fountain a small amount of water from the top most section. The water then trickles over the form, collecting in the reservoir pond situated in the curved bottom section.

My Sculpture practice explores the importance of material and it’s ability to be manipulated from its original form into new forms and functions.

Largely working in industrial materials such as discarder ‘junk’ and metal. This piece marks the beginning of this focus.

Materials - Galvanized industrial brackets, plastic piping, water, small pond pump, small pond, electricity.

After creating a channel down the side of the hill, I'm laying some large stones to mark the side boundaries of the stream bed.

Nice water feature in downtown Wenatchee...a place I could stand to explore at greater length sometime soon.

I've completed the water course and spillway. I've also added a fourth steppig stone to get over the tree root near the break in the slope to the right of the stream bed. The pond at the bottom still needs to have the pump installed and the hoses hidden. There is still much to do.

Here's one of the new residents, hanging out in a water plant. Oct 2006
