So yesterday my family took my brother back down to Portsmouth uni and i FINALLY got to see his house! (YAY) While he was in a lecture my parents decided to go to the waterfront, even though it was FREEZING and wet. Still, i managed to get a few shots of this old man sitting feeding seagulls and watching all the ferries coming past even if it is pretty terrible. OH well, enjoy :)
So my dad now is starting to pay me for putting all my pictures onto cards YAY!! now i can get some money :) Also it's my birthday in 2 weeks! hopefully i'm getting money towards an slr so i can finally get one, and i will now be able to work.

Cottonwood fireworks as seen from Clarkdale, 9pm, Saturday night under a full moon. We found a pretty good spot to watch fireworks this year. We walked up behind the Clarkdale P.O.-- to the empty field that once housed the grade school (burnt down in 1985). There's a big concrete pad in what used to be the playground.
The Waltham Watch Company is quite important, as it was the first company to mass produce pocket watches in America, Massachusetts to be more specific, starting in ~1852. Its Movement is Seven Jewel and has the serial number of 17788223, which I’ve dated to 1908-1909. I’ve been unable to find a database or source to date the Dennison case, which has the serial number of 988510.
It’s a lovely piece, and I’m looking forward to tracking down an adequate chain to keep it on.
