Danboard came with us to watch the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series Yacht racing today. He seemed a bit perplexed by the whole event. Elizabeth Taylor says you can only expect a box to understand so much, I think she might be right!

A Shetlander (judging by the flag) gives up on the game briefly to admire the view behind the stand. There's been a healthy showing of Shetland Tartan Army followers at the game - "every game's an away game" read their t-shirts.

I have been sitting for about an hour watching these 3 jays. You know they're coming when the little birds scatter. Two of them will land in this tree, and one on the porch rail. Then the one on the rail hops down on the porch, and looking all around, hops over to the dog feeder box and swipes some dog food. They take turns raiding the dog food until something frightens them and they all fly away.
I don't mind if they eat the dog food but I wish I could take their picture! If I move around much in the house at all, they see me and fly away.

My favorite watch. I have a few of these and I love these in particular because the bands are 100% adjustable, so I can actually wear a watch that fits and doesn't roll around my wrist!
In Amalienborg courtyard this policeman watches the crowd watching the changing of the guard. This may be to ward off pickpocketting as much as anything else.
