Automatic Watch 21 Jewels
This is my first automatic watch. I bought it at the Swatch store in Las Vegas two months ago. It came with a leather band (I still have it), but I wanted a metal band, so I bought one that day and the clerk at the store changed it for me. It keeps great time, but only if I wear it at least every other day.

Strobist: Flashed using a Canon 430ex II bounced off a white ceiling and mounted on top of a Canon 1000D.
I saw this Weight Watchers scale in my local Goodwill. It was in the book section, imagine that. Anyway, it kind of has an early 80s look to it, so I figured you people who like that sort of thing might enjoy looking at it.

Being able to retire at forty is one of my greatest achievements. In my '20s, after only 1 week of work, I realized that I was ripe for retirement: my brain couldn't compute the "9 to 5" way of life. The escape from the rat race took me 15 years, thousands of self-development / finance books and dozens of works in third-world countries. All worth it!

Dense vegetation, low light and tall grasses are nightmares for the herbivorous and boon for predators like Tigers and Leopards. Herbivorous like Spotted dear, Sambhar, Grey langur etc. rely on each other for transfer of Information about the presence of a predator nearby, this reliance and friendship is beneficial. The forest is set to alarm when a predator is spotted, the alarm is passed on in timely fashion making sure everyone is alarmed.
A typical herd of grey langur consists of around 40-45 Individuals. The safety of the group is largely in hands of the watchers which occupy the tallest tree branches which help them vigil right from the top to witness any predator movement, during any such situation an alarm will be raised and the group will move towards safer grounds. This guy was the surveillance system of the group while others were grazing, attentive, vigilant and eyes wide open.

Have you been yet? Every time I went on the Virginia Aquarium Whale Watching Trip, I saw whales …. and a lot more. I wasn’t lucky enough to see the classic whale broaching it was still impressive to see something that large, this close to our beaches. One sight led to another and made for a very impressive time.

You can tell I was shooting trough a fence from the dark areas in the sky, you can also see the fence in the bokeh :)

We spent an amazing day on the water today on a whale watching tour with some great friends. We were fortunate enough to see humpback whale, and a whole lot of orca whales. Three orca pods were traveling and frolicking together and we sure enjoyed the special show!
