Once we were finished getting the shots we needed i wanted to showcase Josh's watch (Breitling super avenger) as if it were an adverstisment shot. Since Josh was already dressed the part, i think they ended up very nice.
Okay. I'm a geek. This was my Christmas Gift to myself. A Pebble watch. It is a bluetooth watch and hooks up to your phone and alerts you when your phone rings, you get an email or text message. For those times when the phone is out of reach but you wonder who is calling. Sounds awesome, huh? Worked for about 3 hours. Then this. Restarted it from scratch, then this again. Then completely blank. But the little monster still sat in the box I planned to return it in - buzzing away to tell me I had a message - but it had no display. REALLY getting on my nerves. I'm waiting to send it back. Not worth the investment at this point. I should have just gone for the Google Glass when I got the email offer. ::grumble:: I will wait for a better version - by whomever can do better than this.
Watching this couple for a while I sensed they were just getting to know each other. Finally he moved tentativly toward her and was rewarded with an arm reaching around his neck........
All Games Makers at London 2012 were given a Swatch watch. For the Paralympic Games these were mauve.

Today it is NOT cold !! even had to turn the heating down !

Yesterday an annular solar eclipse happened in some parts of the world. Here in Shiraz it was a partial eclipse, with a coverage of may be less than 20%. I was too busy here, and all I could do was to use a floppy disk as a solar filter and point my camera with its 3X (!) zoom to the sky. At least I could capture something of it. Then on my way back home, I saw a group of high school boys and girls on a sidewalk showing pedestrians the eclipse through their binoculars and telescope. I took this with the camera lens put on the telescope's eyepiece.
