SCT004,SCT010 are stabled at Forrest on 6PM9 SCT after a derailment at Malbooma earlier and wait for crew time off before heading east bound once again 16-4-14
What a great welcome home sight greeting us after a week of vacation in Colorado as we headed home after disembarking from the last Delta flight of the evening (4538 CR900). Saltie Lubie at CHS, Michipicoten at CN Dock 6, American Century at MERC, Great Republic and Joe Block at Hallett Dock 5. Welcome home! August 28, 2018.
Welcome in the forest! It's a lovely sunny day so perfect for a walk outside, and I love nature so I decided to go to the forest. Look around, plenty of trees and plenty of green. it's beautiful here.
After a little break, we are fully coming back to refresh our vibes in this new year. We’d like to thank everyone who joined us in 2024 and will continue with us in 2025, there’s so much new and exciting things waiting for you!
This is the view looking south along Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough on the morning of Sunday 9th February 2020. The structure in the foreground, sheltering the photographer from the damp conditions, carries the A66 trunk road. It's a prospect that might greet a traveller who has just arrived at nearby Middlesbrough station and is looking to find the town centre.
By the way, the title is not intended to be ironic. On this - my first proper visit to Middlesbrough - I found the town to be vibrant and full of character. When I was last here, in the nineteen-seventies, I think I merely passed through the station by train.

The sun on my back, the first day of spring...hmmm, does life get any sweeter? But which of those two male sparrows do I want.

Welcome back!!
This is the first Chipping Sparrow that I have seen back this year. It is great to have these energetic little sparrows back here for the summer.

After an IT support session for someone in Leicester's West End, I walked back to the bus station along the canal. There's some classy graffiti along here that I've not noticed before.

The lift span on Duluth's landmark Aerial Lift Bridge starts its descent after the USCGC Alder enters the harbor after accompanying CSL's RT. Hon. Paul J. Martin to Thunder Bay.
The Martin is loaded with Hibtac pellets from BNSF 5 and will winter in T-Bay before taking its ore load to Nanticoke, Ontario. I'm guessing this is one of the few times, if ever, Thunder Bay has hosted a vessel loaded with iron ore since CN ceased shipping ore through its gravity dock there in 1980.
This should be the last full lift for the bridge in the 2016-17 shipping season. The Soo Locks open March 25 and ships will begin to position for loading a few days prior to that.
