Here we see the visual catalog's attempt at running the same search (in keeping with the theme of this blog, I typed in "Investigation"). You can JUST see the top edge of the second search result, but basically it's one title per screen. This makes actually finding the thing you want a very slow and difficult process -- worse when a librarian is helping a patron, as the person who knows what he wants is not the one holding the mouse -- especially when attempting comparison. This needs to be fixed, and there are some easy solutions.

I love when an otherwise potentially boring building has some visual interest incorporated. Shot for the 'Architectural detail' challenge in the December most versatile challenge, in the Compositionally Challenged group.

This is the logo for the visual kei/jrock hunt I am helping organize with Kanzen ni Jrock. It will take place in June or July. All participating stores will have items that reflect the visual kei and/or the jrock culture in an effort to spread the knowladge and love within SL. Once I have a solidified date I will add it into the logo. I am really hoping lots of people will come and participate.
A visual field defect in the temporal aspect of both eyes which does not cross the vertical midline, highly suggestive of a non-glaucomatous lesion and suggests a lesion posterior to the eye, such as a neurological lesion.

In this image film stills of the inside of a piano are combined with waveforms in an attempt to capture a visual representation of musical rhythms. This image relates to the work of experimental filmmaker Oskar Fischinger. In the 1930s Fischinger experimented with Ornament Sound, utilizing the optical sound track in a very unique way. He used graphical icons in place of the usual waveforms in the soundtrack area of the film, to create a "synthesized," or "pure" sound. His work raised questions about what sounds shapes might create.
The third of 61 "Visualize it Richly and Colorfully" doodles for the Index-Card-A-Day Challenge.
I'm working with 2 different themes a day and gave myself the added challenge of spending no more than 2 minutes drawing each card.
The first is a visual brainstorm of a key creativity trait and what my business aims to inspire you to do: Visualize richly and colorfully.
The second is a series of "happy mail" to be sent to critically ill children from the following organizations: Hugs and Hope, Post Pals, Caring Bridge, and Send Kids the World.
The Index-Card-A-Day challenge is hosted by Daisy Yellow: daisyyellow.squarespace.com/icad/
