haha. We totally look like we're in a visual kei band. I'm the lead guitarist and Severine is the dark, tortured singer.

Visual Magick made these adorable inflatable shark mods!!!! Look at that face! Those hand holds! I want to float away somewhere when I wear this mod! There is even a walker included with squeeky sounds! Comical! Rubber! Adorable! Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check it out! What-wha-what-what-what’s it all about?! 30 Days of Perception - Day 6

"Movement through gesture is a form of communication.

All phenomena are animate and expressive."

Kim Manley-Ort

As we express ourselves through gesture, movement and body language, so do all living things, including plants.

I cut a small branch of ivy to put in a vase to illustrate how the graceful movements suggest body language. I notice how the tiny new branches take directions of their own away from the main stem and how each leaf has its own personal expression. When I observe the movement of the branch, I enter into communication with the way it expresses itself. It's as if I can feel a movement and sway.

My bro working with wood, his tools, his table.

It is brown for so much of the year here that when the hills turn green it's a visual treat.

.

When it's right to break rules you just feel it !!! The scene was suitable for applying the rule of thirds (I actually took down a few frames) but it just didn't feel right ... "The boat should be placed at the middle of the synthesis", was my very next thought ...

When I saw the captured frame at Olympus screen I knew I had it right .... Sometimes my friends when a frame is actually bursting with interesting visual information, you have to bring balance ... The placing of the boat at the center of the synthesis actually brought that balance ... The forced use of flash turned the what would otherwise be leafy shades into full of life, vivid green color leafs at the foreground (when one decides to break synthesis rules, one should never break them all together) ... et voila !!!!

Ah, by the way, use your tripod as much as you can !!!! It's truly invaluable !!!!

We are still looking at the port of Amfipolis, Alexander the Great's most beloved marine location !!!!!

Jökulsárlón is a visual dream if you like landscapes or even if you don't....:) The sunset was extremely spectacular that evening and although the wind was too fierce for cool sunset reflection shots, it was still a real nice photographic moment...

I'd like to share this panorama today to try and have a small break from some haunting images of Syrian refugees that I cannot get out of my head. The sunrise in this little village of Jamnik, Slovenia was mesmeraising and I hope it can provide a little rest to your thoughts.

Will pilots be ready to fly us where we want to go once the pandemic is over?

but first don't worry, it's melting snow coming down on a glass table.

The encounters with wild animals are always magical, but when they make eye contact and also show confidence and don’t flee… That’s already the ultimate for us as photographers, especially with a short eared owl.
