Visual Poetry W3/P2 adding W1/P2 to give it just a touch of softness.
This was taken in Austin at a Baskin Robbins. I had traveled there to take a class with the talented Stephanie Rubiano.
What if we looked for ways to nurture ourselves through interconnectedness and gentle views of life as a shared source of building better futures for all beings?
If we treasured how courage is not an individual defence against past transgressions or a quest for the status quo or a way to secure personal safety and power.
If we nourish each other by growing seeds of kindness even in the darkest and most arid conditions. Maybe then we could each be part of a path forward and be particles in the structure forming a better world.
If tomorrow is a flow organically meandering from current circumstances, there is hope in a stream towards respecting the power of life in all its forms of biological activity in both organic matter and the societal structures they form.
Organic life is and has a purpose.
That purpose is embedded in a drift towards balance.
The meaning of life is in a way selfless.
Life is shared resources in an interdependent system, where all living matter desires to transform beyond the scope of their singular existence.
The courage to live with the will to accept that there is no permanence to hold on to, and no way to grow and become the being you were a moment ago is a powerful aspiration built on love and fearlessly being a vulnerable trusting soul accepting a multitude of ways to be in the world.

Her face, a mosaic of notes, delicate and profound, each paper slip a fragment, secrets tightly wound, in the flutter of her gaze, silent messages resound.
In a visage of paper notes, her secrets lie entwined, a thousand whispers flutter, truths yet to be defined, her gaze, a silent letter, with a message to unbind.
Note: Images I generated with AI tools using custom creative prompts and my own set of past images for data learning with some human post edits as well, Do you like it? Super HD versions available on demand.

This is what it all comes down to
In the end.
Whatever challenges overcome,
Lives changed,
Marks left;
There will always,
Only,
Be This.
And even this passes.
I made this using the techniques from week one and week three in Susan Tuttle's Visual Poetry class.

infinite and impermanent
all things will fade
mortality and old age
mere moments in life's progression
and when these sufferings pass
there will be nothing left
not even an empty looking glass
or the withered petals
of a lotus come and gone
... still yet, nothing will have changed

Every shot is a small poem without words. Here, I capture fleeting moments that speak louder than any language.

A short poem, based on a fantastic image of a rose by Tittelintuure.
You can see the image here:
This is the poem I wrote in response to the image.
This is the rose
With which I send you my blood.
With this petal I dedicate my blood to you.
With this vast expanse of natural beauty
Carved and contained by the stains of history
I offer you my thorns of redemption.
Pluck this flower and let it fall,
For it is not yours to hold,
It is a masterpiece of time.
