refuge [Hasselblad 500c/m / 150mm Sonnar + 2x Converter / Ilford HP5+ / April 2020]

Shot on a short sunset trip on a rather windy (and quite cold) night at Toftum north of Struer, Denmark - April 09, 2020.

The feeling of inner calm,

often associated with the festive season of Christmas.

And yet… this gift deserves to be felt every day. It is a vital grace

that blossoms far more deeply within the simplicity of everyday life than in staged, seasonal rituals.

⁛ May this quiet sense of inner stillness remain with you, gently, through every ordinary day.

From a photo walk with members of a Danish Facebook group - May 23, 2021.

At the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

In her outstretched hand, a simple branch becomes a gift — a quiet gesture of wonder and connection. The red threads on her wrists, tied with love and belief, are blessings of protection and goodwill, given by elders who still trust in sacred threads and silent prayers. In this moment, ancient tradition and childhood innocence meet, reminding us that the smallest offerings often carry the deepest meaning.

Rather than showing a specific location, this image focuses on the mood of the coastline. Intentional camera movement softens the scene into gentle bands of colour, allowing sea, land, and sky to merge. The result is a quiet, abstract impression that’s less about what the place looks like and more about how it feels.

I just learned that a piece of shit on Flickr has been broadcasting a slander about me "sexual harasser'". An English woman. If you receive the slander, use your brain...thanks...

he walks — not fast, not slow. the gallery holds him like a rhythm, not a frame. every line points forward, but there’s no rush. the lamps burn quietly. the windows stay closed. only the footsteps move, soft and straight, toward a doorway that isn’t calling — just open.

A Shakespearean tone resonated in my mind with this...yet, the words were indescribable...and I could not release them from within...hence, the title lacks what it should be...or seem...

A great Lord Huron's song come to mind: ...I go down to the edge of the lake

Where I wait through the night for the dawn light to break

Memories of old crash like waves on the shore of my mind...

Caught between the earth and the storm, she walks into a world of shadow and light.

The silence is thick, the mountains breathe quietly.

There’s no clear path, only the pull of something beyond — something waiting.

The sea was calm that evening, but the sky had other plans.

As the sun sank behind the distant islands, the horizon ignited — molten streaks of crimson and gold spilled across the water, turning the whole bay into a mirror of fire.

Moments like these don’t ask for filters or perfection — just a quiet heart and a steady hand.

Captured on Thailand’s coast, where every sunset feels like a new beginning.

captured in the early morning hours at hotel sonnwies in südtirol, this photograph is a study in simplicity and calm. with its crisp lines and gentle reflections, it transforms an ordinary pool into a space of quiet contemplation. the straight-edge railing slices through the frame, creating a sense of infinite depth and balance, while the stillness of the water evokes a moment of serene introspection. shot with the leica m11 monochrom and 50mm summilux f/1.4 asph, the image celebrates the beauty of minimalism in black and white, where every detail whispers rather than shouts.

At times life does not ask for explanations.

It simply goes on, quietly, proving nothing to anyone.

Not everything is meant to stand out. Some things exist simply so you can feelthat significance does not always require action.

⁛ And there, without noise, you understand that this is enough.
