Found on a day out with some photo friends in Lemvig, Denmark - April 06, 2019.

From a walk on my 'daily playground' both as a child and in my adult life - the military training area (Jydske Dragonregiment/Jutland Dragoon Regiment) south of Holstebro, Denmark - January 31, 2021.

Holstebro, Denmark – November 2023.

An early dose of Christmas Lights around the town.

Between minds and walls, knowledge faces invisible barriers — and crosses them.

Books are not only held in hands but embedded in thoughts, in the very structures that divide and connect us.

It is the boundary between thinking and being.

from a recent body of work exploring life, death, memory, connections, nostalgia... just those simple things. :-)

between departure and arrival, there’s this — a window of time where everything blurs. the geometry of motion, bent through glass and weather. nothing moves, yet everything is already changing. the airport becomes an accidental canvas, and the delay becomes a still life.

From a family Easter vacation at Skagen, Denmark - April 20, 2019.

Here we are on a morning walk in the area called Grenen (the very top of Jutland).

Few ways out.

And maybe that’s exactly what makes this image so symbolic.

It definitely wasn’t the right moment to fly.

The sky said it all — heavy, closed, almost threatening.

Yet there he was, suspended in the middle of it all.

But some creatures know the wind better than fear.

Maybe for him it’s just ordinary routine.

Maybe for us, instead, it’s a reminder.

That even when the sky seems to leave no space at all, we still have to find the courage to cross it.

Poche vie d’uscita.

Shot/used for a Facebook challenge with the theme "At the centre/to the point" - May 15, 2020.

From a walk around Aarhus, Denmark – August 2025.

the pavement catches the weight of a step, the fleeting imprint of a moment. shadows stretch and twist, tracing a path unseen. movement, frozen mid-stride, yet forever in motion.

in the smooth curve of her sunglasses, a man walks through the city without knowing he's being quietly framed, turned into a fleeting portrait behind polarized glass. this photo lives between presence and absence — a moment both shared and stolen, sharpened by distance, intimacy and unspoken observation. the city reflects itself back in fragments, and we become witnesses through borrowed vision.

At the line,

a figure becomes clear.

When it all goes quiet in the school garden out I creep, like a spider up the ladders, to weave my web installation...

It was always there, the bend of the river,

the arc of light, the calm rhythm of the roofs

against the sky. But today I didn't see it with my eyes, I saw it with the colors of my soul.

Then came the change, what once felt small,

filled in all its greatness. Not because it changed. No, it changed because I did.

⁛ Magic isn't hidden, it appears unnoticed.

Not everything needs to be shown to tell a story.

Sometimes a fragment of architecture, a line rising into the sky, or a geometry holding time between stone and clouds is enough.

It is within the absence of the unnecessary that matter becomes presence, silence, and memory.

Play with long shadows and intentional blur on a sunlit street in Aarhus, Denmark on December 04, 2016.

Aarhus, Denmark - March 12, 2022.

We sat on the rooftop. Around, the town

Was white and grey, waiting for the new lights.

And as we talked, watching the eaves and down

You kept on asking: “Are you afraid of heights?”

“Actually, I can fly: I’m going to teach

Your body and your brain to surf the air.

Just keep in mind the place you want to reach

And don’t relax: your muscles taut, beware!”

Leaving the roof, my thoughts was on the sill

I decided to stop and perch upon.

I did not turn. I had to show my skill

Stretching my ego in a flying swan.

You waited on the roof: I wonder if you coped

Seeing me sailing higher. Maybe that’s what you hoped.

This is a dream I had a couple of nights ago.

----

it's been a long time since I have made still life's, a photo genre that I love to explore...

Fleeting moments under the station clock. High contrast and diagonal shadows shaping the space.

A moment,

as light as summer air.

Two voices,

woven into laughter

that echoes beyond the stone.

No secrets,

just joy,

etched in smiles

and held in hearts.

Nothing is asked.

Nothing is offered.

Only awareness.

A still presence

that sees without reaching.
