A lighthouse enjoys breathtaking views over the Dyrholaey coastline in Southern Iceland.
This series is best appreciated in black and white here:
Taken from a promenade nearby Kappa Bridge, Kamikochi Highland, Japan. The rolling tall peaks are the Hotakas, which view gets an international acclaim. Alas, the ridgeline running toward Mt West Hotaka gets hidden in the clouds, yes, Mt Okuho barely visible through the cloud, with happy hums of the visitors everywhere today.
This is one of the magic views from Mountain View Road, Maleny, looking towards Glasshouse Mountains.
The view we see when heading into Tacoma, WA when coming south from Seattle. SO much potential here for sweet morning light or crazy good sunsets behind the Tacoma Dome. This sunset was just okay but the blend of lights during the blue hour worked out. I used the Breakthrough Photography 3 stop "Dark PL" that is an ND and polarizer all built into one which is cool.
Many thanks for your kind visits my friends; you are the best! Have a great holiday season and Merry Christmas! :)

Another shot from the Lake District.
One of the many barns that are scattered across the Lakes landscape, it was one of the better mornings with some nice light around when i walked up to this view.
The Ammersee is the third largest lake in Bavaria, southwest of Munich, an idyllic jewel in the middle of nature. Along the shores of Lake Ammersee are picturesque towns like Dießen, Utting, Herrsching. On Lake Ammersee there are still old-fashioned paddle steamers, you can get on and off at various places around the blue-green lake.
A wall with windows in a ghost town named Lake View. Didn't see a lake but saw plenty of decaying structures, some dating back to the 1880's when the town was a thriving silver mining community.
Happy Window Wednesday!
This was shot with a hoya nx400 filter for the long exposure. It is not an HDR I just blended 2 photos one with ev+1 for the water and trees and ev-1 for the sky..
TGIF guys!!
