View of a lake at Washington wetlands. Taken from one of the many 'hides' in the area!

This is my vision of what the last view a prey item would see if captured in the web.

View from Riffugio Campiglio

Stunningly beautiful, Railay West is the most popular side of Railay not the east side and the beach you'll want to spend most of your time on.

Railay West has a magnificent arc of golden sands and is backed by seafront restaurants and hotels. Railay East contains most of the high-end resorts and the pick-up point for boat tours. Phra Nang is a smaller beach with roaming monkeys and great views over karst rocks sitting out to sea.

The view from our Hotel room in Sudbury. Interesting pane structure as well, I think.

On March 15, 2024, after 42 inches of snow fell on Crescent during a major Colorado Front Range storm, the view of snow-covered scenery from Amtrak’s westbound California Zephyr would have been spectacular, especially from the Superliner Sightseer lounge.

just coming down butter tubs and was greeted with this view

Long exposure taken at Petersfield Heath Pond.

Petersfield is a market town and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire,

I first saw this scene as I was walking Cook's Meadow without my camera. I liked the way the shadows darkened the foreground and let my eye move easily across the view to the far granite walls. I noted the time and returned the next morning at the same time. I was lucky to also find some clearing clouds to add to the scene.

Two pilgrims on the banks of the Rhine, gazing at Cologne Cathedral—one of the most important landmarks of the Christian West.

Religious symbolism meets modern infrastructure, quiet contemplation meets lively urban space.

Religiöse Symbolik trifft auf moderne Infrastruktur, stille Betrachtung auf lebendigen Stadtraum.

This is the view from my fathers grave in Arlington Cemetery today it was a beautiful spring day to be here with my nieces Amy and Vanessa. I pray that this country will never forget the lives sacrificed for our freedom.

Looking eastwards along the South Hams Coast.

A view, right after the rain. The clouds were so down making us feel to be in a hill station.

Two photos are merged here.

Looking down over Mill Valley, with views of Sausalito, Alcatraz, the San Francisco Bay Bridge, the San Francisco Financial District. Barely visible in the background are the east bay hills.

View from the hilltop, Aanachadikuthu Waterfalls

It was just before sunset and we returned to the Galena Territory for food and rest after a day of adventure.

Horseshoe Mound Preserve features a central gathering area, viewing scopes, and scenic outlooks with views across three states. Hiking trails extend throughout the property and offer panoramic views of the city of Galena, distant views of Bellevue and Dubuque in Iowa, the Mississippi River, and several other geological mounds in Iowa and Wisconsin.

View on Dolomites from the cable car station on the mountain Monte Lagazuoi Piccolo (2,778 m above sea level) :)

The Dolomite Mountains (the Dolomites) are a mountain range in northeastern Italy, part of the Southern Limestone Alps. They are in the regions of Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Dolomites are mostly made up of exposed rocks – limestones and dolomites and partly – rhyolites. These mountains are characterized by very picturesque terrain caused by their erosion and they are considered one of the most attractive mountain landscapes in the world. A large number of jagged ridges, peaks and rock towers, very steep slopes, cliffs and large vertical rock walls of several hundred meters, deep valleys and karst phenomena create a spectacular landscape. On 26 June 2009, the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Widok na Dolomity z górnej stacji kolejki na Monte Lagazuoi Piccolo (2778 m n.p.m.) :)

Dolomity – pasmo górskie w północno-wschodnich Włoszech, część Alp Wschodnich, leżące w regionach Trydent-Górna Adyga i Wenecja Euganejska.

Vista of Porto's Cathedral (top of the hill) from the Centro Portugues de Fotografia. The Centro is located in what was once Porto's municipal prison. From early on, photography was used here to establish a connection between physiognomy and criminality (phrenology and other kinds of pseudo-science). The aim was that 'good society' could easily be distinguished from 'bad company'. Photography is not and never was innocent.

Single frame views of Kylemore Abbey and the Atlantic coast from the summit of Diamond Hill, County Galway, Ireland. A moderate day hike under windy conditions, the panoramic version will be uploaded next. Happy weekend to everyone.
