what I find amazing about this photo is the lack of civilization. I didn't realize it until after viewing but there is barely a clearing visible in this photo that looks east from the summit of Burke Mt. in the Northeast Kingdom region of Vermont. There are several proposals floating in Vermont for wind turbines and although I am an advocate of green power, it sure would spoil this view.
The view over Bogotá from Brisas, Ciudad Bolívar, an area marked by its extreme poverty.
Note the stones and pieces of loose brick that are holding down the tin roof.

I found that the ride down was actually smoother than going up. This was my second time doing the Namsan Cable Car as my parents and I also went on the cable car when I was last in Seoul seven years prior.
