Visitors to New Zealand's South Island face an enormous problem, apart from the friendly and obliging people, they are surrounded by stunning views no matter where they look. Since you can't go there at present, because they've eliminated Corona virus, I've put together a slide show of a few favourite landscape shots from that most magical country.

Still swimming weather here on the east coast of Canada. It was nearly 30c out yesterday and it's low twenties out right now here in Truro. Get out there while you can.

In this short video you see the "easiest" dive, assuming that a jump where you risk your life can be called easy.
I call it so because only the beginners dive from here, while more experienced ones do it from a height more than double

3rd January, half past to midnight on a cold wet moor in Badenoch, and a fox drags a roe deer carcass out of the light to feed. Quite a feat, I carried this carcass some distance and it was easily 20+ kg.

I followed this heron for 1h and he only caught sun perches
There are a lot of other fishes in this lake but he was only searching for sun perches.
Happy that the leaves in the foreground didnt have any effect on the AF tracking.
ps: I didnt know how to post it as I did so many photos, so to not flood your flickr view I decided to make a slide show even if the resolution is lower but it's funny to see

The area has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The present configuration of the Cittadella is a combination of a medieval castle and an early modern gunpowder fortress, with its northern walls retaining a largely medieval form and its southern walls dating back to a 17th-century reconstruction. The Cittadella has been included on Malta's tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1998.
