This photo reflects value. It's represented by the different shades of purple in the sky.

The subject of matter is the sky.

This photo is appealing because of all the beautiful colours mixed together.

I wouldn't change anything.

This photo actually won the Monday Photo contest! YAY!

Ghazal, Iman, Sama, and Sally from Core Child Program Teacher Ahmad al-Khateeb's PM class work on an activity about valuing their identity in their family.

This is a very strange billboard I spotted on Queens Blvd. I know this ad is meant to inspire, but it still looks kind of frightening. Here's the link from the Foundation for a Better Life: www.values.com/billboards/preparation

This is the first approach for outlining the relationship between higher-level values and the final work

From the secrets of the natural environment from which we arise, to the values and stories that form our society; from the technologies and resources that enable modern life, to the ideas that define and protect our humanity -- or threaten it.

Faith

This permanent collection exhibit wraps up an entire year of looking at how objects acquire value, from sentimental and personal objects, to objects that represent our collective, cultural heritage. As an art gallery with a growing public collection, we consider it a big responsibility when deciding which objects best represent our community as a whole: what will have everlasting value by way of story, craft, concept, or social commentary with which we might be able to mark a significant time in our collective history.

Value Added was conceived with the goal of finding common ground amidst our diverse community. We chose five categories we believe everyone, regardless of age or background, would likely agree that we collectively value: our rights, our country, our heritage, our faith, and our family. However we worship, vote, marry, love, and celebrate, these are all things that are important to many of us. The objects on display were selected to illustrate these concepts.

O Workshop Value and Valuation, Challenges in political economy analysis, teve lugar no Iscte de 22 a 23 de junho de 2023.

My friends, Seattle artists Pam Gray & Anne Baumgartner, turned the chain link fence around the site of the old Sunset Bowl in Ballard into a summer art installation. Incorporating the alphabet and Ballard neighborhood character into their work on recycled or recyclable materials, they gave the community, which misses very much the 24 hour bowling ally that used to fill this lot, something to enjoy and smile about.

A HUGE wall project for a local primary school to show their values. It will be 6 books on a background edged with Roman walls (like our city is)

These two watercolors by LeConte Stewart demonstrate how value gradations can change a painting. These sketches in watercolor are good examples of how to use color and value. Part of "LeConte Stewart Papers" in the Special Collections Department, J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah.
